Hair transplantation is the artistic, surgical redistribution of permanent/permanent hair follicles taken from donor dominant areas, i.e. the back of the head and sides, to the bald/balding areas of the scalp. These long lived hair follicles are transplanted into the bald/hair loss area of the scalp. Current microsurgical techniques provide a very natural hair regrowth to the bald areas of the scalp. Just enough hair follicles are taken from the back and sides of the scalp to leave enough hair in the donor area.
